A friend's mom asked me to help her sell some cars of hers. The list is a '68 Mercury Cougar, '69 Ford F-100, '72 Saab Sonett III, and a golf cart. I took the Saabs photos a couple weeks ago and posted some here. I'll put them at the end of this just to tie it all together.
I'm thinking of trying to make a go of a business doing car photography for people. I have connections and a portfolio which also consists of graphic design. Maybe a sort of Design & Marketing entrepreneurship is on the distant horizon... I'll be making a sort of commission on the sale of these cars, and I'll use most of the profit to invest in some superior equipment. These pictures were all taken with a 12 year old Canon Rebel. Anyway, here are the pics. Keep in mind, they're primarily meant for advertisement, not art.
Even the golf cart photographed well!

That Cougar is brilliant. I actually was encouraging two younger siblings wanting something muscle car-ish to consider a Cougar, but they ended up deciding to long-term plan towards a 2nd gen Firebird and a 924. Oh well.
Also, #Montegomanbait

Dat Cougar.....is here any rust?

Excellent pictures, my ads never look that good.
My only suggestion would be to put the object in it's proper environment, cars on pavement, golf carts on grass, boats in the water.

All very desirable vehicles.

Very well done, those shots really do those vehicles justice rather than potato-quality phone pictures or plain-Jane driveway shots. Did you do interior and engine pictures as well?

Probably the only time these two words are appropriately used in the same sentence without cringing.

If you're thinking about the words Cougar and Sexy(Sexeh) I'd say it depends on how old you are :P But sure, I wont argue.

Meh, cars and trucks look decent on grass. I was limited to the propert I was on, and while there was a bit of pavement, the backgrounds weren't favorable. TheCougar would have done well with some bright pavement.

Nope! Very solid car, just needs some interior work. It was originally a California black plate car.

I did, although I mysteriously forgot to do the Cougar's engine bay. Might go back or have the owner send me something usable. But anyway, they weren't posted here because they aren't really these cars' strong points in terms of aesthetics.

my only thing is No rust, don't care about nothing else cause those things are notorious for rusting out like mad

Are you interested in buying this one or just curious? I can give you the ad link when it's up if you want.

Not really in the market at the moment, just bought a 1973 Gran Torino Sport Q-Code...and there are some bugs i'm hammering out with it. But if you don't mind could I see the ad?

If I remember to come back to this thread, sure! It probably won't be up today since I'd have to get it approved by the seller and I haven't even written it yet.

These are some great shots! I too would like to do that in the future, but I'm very young. I take so many pictures of each car and truly do have some that came out great. POD was a car photographer too, I don't know him in real life, but got into a conversation about it once.
